I spotted two Camrys a Camry and an Avalon in the past two days. I live in Europe, and can’t remember the previous time I saw one (if ever).

(No SR20 because driving)

EDIT: according to Wikipedia it were an ’06-’11 Camry and an ’04-’12 Avalon.

An American pastor recently moved to my area and brought a Sebring Convertible with him. Now thanks to Oppo I know that driving those is the equivalent of admitting to eating placenta but I must say they actually look quite nice. It’s a bit like a 6 series convertible. Just a big open air boat to cruise about town in with 4 fully grown adults.

I’ve even seen a couple of previous gen Camrys here in Finland. I assume the ones you saw were older European market cars.

I see them occasionally. They were sold until 2004 and at one time were quite common until they became optimised for the American market and therefore too big. They also stopped selling a diesel model which was the kiss of death.

Toyota did sell three or four generations of the Camry here in Europe. They are at least two in my town, I’ve mentioned it here on Oppo before. Apparently they’re popular in east Europe.

Did some Wikipedia’ing, and apparently it was an ’06-’11 Camry. Never knew the older ones were sold here though, TIL etc.

Apparently not, an ’06+ Camry and an ’04+ Avalon. Weren’t diplomatic (Brussels) or military (Kleine Brogel AFB) plates either.

We got the Camry into the late 90's, RHD and everything. It was sort of made redundant by the Lexis IS/GS and the Avensis both sort of encroaching slightly on its territory.

I don’t remember the last time I saw a Camry either. I mean, I’m sure it was a few minutes ago when I was outside, but I don’t remember it.
